The San Jose forward celebrates a career milestone after helping the Earthquakes secure a 2–1 home victory.
Ousseni Bouda had a memorable afternoon at PayPal Park on October 31, earning Man of the Match honors after helping the San Jose Earthquakes defeat Real Salt Lake 2–1.
Bouda opened the scoring just two minutes into the match with a free kick, setting the tone for San Jose’s victory.
The recognition comes shortly after another important achievement: reaching 100 MLS regular-season appearances, marking a significant milestone in his professional career.
Selected eighth overall by San Jose in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft after playing at Stanford University, Bouda continues to establish himself as an important part of the Earthquakes’ attack.
A milestone appearance and a Man of the Match performance made it a special occasion for the San Jose forward.
